JADIS
Peformed around Iq members Gary Chandler and Martin Orford, this superb neo Progressive British band combines solid powerful compositions with strong vocals and refined instrumental flights. Jadis features their song writing which is a common emphasis amongst neo prog bands. Their albums are instantly likeable, with a lot of melodic hooks often very nice, and a fairly decent vocalist. Other than IQ, this includes Camel, Genesis, Marillion, Pallas, or Pendragon. In many of these bands, all they need is a little more variety in the rythms and time signatures.

* Support IQ on the Nomzamo Tour

* Support Marillion on the 'Clutching At Straws' Tour
* Tour ends with three sold out nights at London's Hammersmith Odeon
1989
* First headline show at the legendary Marquee Club, which is a sell out
* First recordings made, which are produced by Steve Rothery of Marillion
1991
* Recording begins for the band's first album
1992
* Jadis release their first album 'More Than Meets The Eye' to wide critical acclaim
* Recommendations and airplay on BBC Radio One from both Alan Freeman and Tommy Vance
* Influential SI Magazine in Holland vote 'More Than Meets The Eye' Album of the Year
* Extensive touring as headline act on the 'Lurve Ambassadors' Tour
1993
* Appearance at the Uden Festival in Holland
* Release of the EP 'Once Upon A Time'

1994
* Second album 'Across The Water' completed, selling 3,000 discs in first days of release
* Jadis voted Best Band, and 'Across The Water' voted Album of the Year by UK Classic Rock Society
* Lengthy promotional tour of Europe with American band Enchant, which stretches into 1995
1995
* Gary voted Best Guitarist and Jadis voted Best Live Act by UK Classic Rock Society
1996
* Second EP, 'Once Or Twice' released
* Widespread tour across Europe including Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Slovakia and Poland
1997
* Jadis release their third album, 'Somersault', on Steve Rothery's Dorian label
* Jadis release the eagerly anticipated live album 'As Daylight Fades'
1999
* Steve forms regular part of John Wetton's touring band
2000
* Release of 'Understand', the bands fourth studio album
* Tour travels include Mexico, Italy and two successful nights at the London Astoria

2001
* Jadis release 'Medium Rare', an album of remastered, unreleased and live tracks
* Touring includes two visits to Europe and an extensive UK schedule
* Gary and Steve guest on John Wetton's new studio album, 'Sinister'
2002
* Jadis release their second live album and the first with the "classic line-up" of Chandler, Christey, Jowitt and Orford, 'Alive Outside'
2003
* Jadis release their fifth studio album, 'Fanatic', on the InsideOut label
* Touring includes dates in Poland, Holland, Germany and the UK
* Release of first ever live DVD 'View From Above'
2004
* Jadis headline the inaugral 'Rights Of Spring' festival, their first ever visit to the USA
2005
* Release of remastered 'More Than Meets The Eye' album. Reworked original album, enhanced booklet, plus Bonus Disc of demo's and previously unreleased tracks

* Jadis release the studio album 'Photoplay' to widespread critical acclaim
